Goflexpet has extruded PET film in Ganzhou, Jiangxi since 2013, and every roll on this page comes off our own lines rather than a trading desk. Eight automated extrusion lines produce around 50 tons a day inside a 10,000 m² plant, which is what lets us quote a single qualification roll and a standing monthly order from the same specification. Buyers come to us for packaging stock, electronics-grade material, print substrates and protective sheeting, and the questions are almost always the same three: which grade, which gauge, and how consistent is it batch to batch. The sections below answer them in that order.
Polyethylene terephthalate film is produced by drying PET resin, melting it through a twin-screw extruder at 240–280 °C, filtering the melt to 50 microns or finer, and casting it onto a chill-roll stack that sets both thickness and surface finish. What comes off the line is a clear, rigid polyester with good dimensional stability, useful chemical resistance and a working temperature of roughly 70–80 °C. This PET plastic material holds its shape under forming heat instead of sagging unpredictably, which is why thermoformers choose it over softer commodity plastics for trays, blisters and clamshells. It is fully recyclable, and R-PET grades are available where your market or your customer requires recycled content.
The base polymer stays the same across our range; what changes is the additive package and the surface treatment. Current production covers:
Any of these can be matched to a Pantone or RAL reference, in virgin polymer or R-PET.
Format follows the process rather than preference. PET film sheets suit cut-to-size fabrication, sheet-fed printing and shorter runs, while roll stock feeds automated thermoforming and laminating lines without an operator loading blanks. We supply both from the same specification, so a customer qualifying on sheet can move to roll later without requalifying the polymer.
Food and beverage packaging takes the largest share, using compliant grades for direct contact with fresh produce, bakery and ready meals. Electronics buyers take antistatic and conductive stock for component trays and insulation layers. Printing and graphics customers use corona-treated substrates for labels, overlays and membrane switches. Medical converters take clear rigid material for device packaging, and automotive suppliers use it for protective and insulating components. About 30% of output is exported — to the USA, Europe, Mexico, Brazil, Southeast Asia, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan — so documentation for those destinations is routine here rather than a first.
We have held ISO 9001 certification since 2015, with compliance to REACH, RoHS and EN166. In production, thickness is measured continuously, every sheet is inspected for bubbles, streaks and inclusions, and mechanical performance is tested to ASTM D638 for tensile strength and ASTM D790 for flexural strength. Batch test reports are issued on request, and we expect buyers to qualify material against their own forming, sealing or printing process before scaling up — that is what samples are for.
Ordering through an intermediary adds a margin and, more expensively, adds a week to every technical answer. Buying PET plastic film direct from the factory means the person who can change a chill-roll temperature or a coating recipe is on the same thread as your engineer. We support OEM and ODM runs, custom gauges and widths, and color matching to your reference. Minimum quantities and lead times depend on grade, format and finish, so ask for both when you ask for pricing.
Send that list to sales@goflexpet.com and we will come back with a grade recommendation, pricing and a sample offer.
