Marble PETG Film and Stone Texture Decorative Sheet

Real marble is heavy, brittle, porous and expensive to fit. A slab needs structural support, sealing against stains, and a fabricator who can cut it without cracking it — which is why so much of what looks like stone in hotels, retail interiors and modern kitchens is not stone at all. Marble PETG film gives the same visual effect at a fraction of the weight and cost, on a surface that is waterproof and wipes clean. Goflexpet prints and embosses it on its own lines in Ganzhou, China.

What Makes a Convincing Stone Effect

Three things, and only one of them is the print. The veining has to be scanned from real stone and printed at a large enough repeat that the eye does not catch the pattern restarting — a short repeat is the giveaway on cheap material. The surface finish has to match the stone being imitated: polished Carrara wants high gloss, honed limestone wants a deep matte, and getting this wrong makes even good veining look artificial. And the depth has to be right, so the vein reads as though it sits inside the material rather than printed on top. A marble effect sheet that gets all three right is difficult to tell from stone at arm's length.

Decors and Finishes

  • White and gray marbles with fine or bold veining, including Carrara and Calacatta styles
  • Fine-vein marble film for large wall areas, where a bold pattern would repeat too visibly
  • Dark marbles and stone textures for feature panels and joinery
  • Granite, terrazzo and concrete effects on the same base material
  • Gloss, satin and matte topcoats; embossed and smooth surfaces
  • Custom veining reproduced from a supplied slab or panel sample

A polished marble plastic sheet is the most requested finish, but matte grades have grown quickly with the move toward honed stone in interiors.

Where It Is Used

Wall panels and feature walls, cabinet and wardrobe fronts, vanity units, reception desks, table tops, shopfitting and lift interiors — anywhere a stone appearance is wanted without the structural load. In residential kitchens and bathrooms the waterproof, non-porous surface is a practical advantage as well as a cost one: unlike natural stone it does not need sealing and will not stain from oil or wine. A marble effect plastic sheet also travels and installs like a panel rather than like a slab, which removes most of the handling risk and cost from a project. On a fit-out with a delivery date, that difference is often the deciding one: panels can be cut on site with ordinary woodworking tools, by the same crew, on the same day, without a stone fabricator in the schedule.

Specifications

  • Thickness 0.18–2.0 mm, 100% virgin polymer
  • Width 300–1400 mm; rolls up to 38 inches diameter on 76 mm cores
  • Supplied as roll stock for continuous lamination or as cut sheet for panel presses
  • Peelable protective film on the decorative face
  • Packing: PE film inner, kraft outer, palletized

The film laminates onto MDF, particleboard, plywood and aluminum composite with standard flat lamination equipment, and follows a profiled edge within its forming window.

Custom Patterns and Ordering

Overseas buyers list this product under several names — marble effect film, film marble and PETG marble all appear on sourcing platforms for the same material, which is worth knowing when you compare quotations. What actually differs between offers is the print repeat, the topcoat and whether the supplier owns the printing cylinder. We do: custom veining is reproduced from a slab or panel sample you send, on a dedicated cylinder, which carries a higher first-order minimum and a longer initial lead time. Repeat orders then run from the same cylinder and stay consistent.

Buying Direct from the Factory

We run eight automated lines producing about 50 tons a day, hold ISO 9001 certification and comply with REACH and RoHS for European and North American shipments. Buying a marble PETG sheet direct means the color approval, the emboss choice and the batch consistency are all handled by the people running the line. Send your decor reference, finish, gauge, width and annual volume to sales@goflexpet.com, and samples will go out before you commit to a production order.

FAQ

How realistic is the stone effect?

At normal viewing distance it is difficult to distinguish from polished stone, provided three things are right: veining scanned from real marble, a long print repeat so the pattern does not visibly restart, and a topcoat that matches the finish of the stone being imitated. Ask any supplier for a physical sample of the exact decor rather than judging from a photograph.

Can you reproduce a specific marble we are matching?

Yes. Send a slab offcut, a panel or a laminate sample and we will reproduce the veining, color and scale on a dedicated printing cylinder. Custom decors carry a higher minimum order quantity and a longer lead time for the first run because of the cylinder, and both are quoted before you commit. Subsequent orders run from the same cylinder and match batch to batch.

What substrates can the film be laminated to?

MDF, particleboard, plywood and aluminum composite panel are the usual choices, using standard flat lamination equipment and PUR or EVA adhesive systems. The film also follows a profiled edge within its forming window, so a panel face and its edge profile can be wrapped continuously. Tell us your substrate and lamination method and we will confirm the right gauge.

Is it suitable for bathrooms and wet areas?

Yes. The surface is waterproof and non-porous, so unlike natural stone it does not need sealing and will not absorb water, oil or staining liquids. It wipes clean with ordinary household cleaners. Performance in a specific installation still depends on the panel behind the film and on how the edges are sealed, so specify the application when you inquire.

What finishes are available besides high gloss?

Satin and deep matte topcoats are produced on the same decors, alongside embossed surfaces that add a shallow texture. Matte grades have grown quickly with the move toward honed and unpolished stone in interior design. Granite, terrazzo and concrete effects are also available on the same base material if the project needs a family of coordinated surfaces.
