Confirm the exact PETG grade and decorative construction in the quotation. Specify the intended panel use and required appearance rather than applying general PET packaging specifications to this decorative material.
| Item | Information to confirm |
|---|---|
| Material | PETG grade, decorative construction and surface treatment. |
| Appearance | Color reference, gloss, haze, surface appearance and permitted variation. |
| Dimensions | Thickness, tolerance, sheet size or roll width and required quantity; confirm availability in the quotation. |
| Roll supply | Where applicable, core, maximum diameter, winding direction and splice restrictions. |
| Processing | Substrate, adhesive, preparation, forming geometry and equipment conditions. |
| Service conditions | Cleaning agents, moisture, handling, light exposure and relevant acceptance tests. |
| Packing and documents | Protective film, packing, approved sample reference, inspection records and grade-specific documentation. |

Start with the panel drawing, intended use and physical color and gloss references. Inspect a representative sample under the intended lighting and viewing conditions. Agree permitted surface marks and appearance variation between adjacent panels, and retain an approved master sample.
For lamination, identify the substrate, adhesive, preparation and equipment conditions. Inspect bonding, edges and surface appearance on a representative panel. For formed parts, trial the proposed grade and thickness on the intended tooling and inspect thinning, whitening, gloss changes and dimensional accuracy after processing.
Define scratch, abrasion, impact, stain, cleaning-agent and moisture requirements separately. Agree test methods, exposure conditions and acceptance limits for the actual grade and finished construction. A glossy finish alone does not establish hardness, resistance to a particular chemical or service life.
Request applicable evidence for any regulated-use or environmental requirement. Comparisons with PVC or other decorative finishes need an agreed basis and evidence for the complete construction, intended use and destination-market route.
Keep the quoted grade, approved sample, processing record and inspection criteria with the order specification. Confirm dimensions, quantity, protective packing and delivery scope before approving production.
